"Do you like word-based board games?" - Ben Hanson's Pick Up Line
Ben "Big Poop" Hanson was the Video Producer at Game Informer. Ben is known for his wild pterodactyl laugh and love of Jurassic Park (and, to an extent, Terminator 2). Secretly, Ben Hanson wants to be a dinosaur. He is also capable of (and frequently demonstrates) a laugh resembling Crash Bandicoot, commonly mistaken for a Velociraptor chirp.
Since the finale of the Mega Man Legends Super Replay, Ben Hanson has become an occasional guest, and even hosted the Yoshi's Island Super Replay. Recently, he remains in his normal video producing and supervising role, but will talk from time to time. In the OverBlood 2 Super Replay, he is in every episode and speaks regularly. Perhaps his most overlooked quality is that he has 'seen the face of God' through the iPhone game known as "Triple Town".
Ben hosted the first Super Replay Showdown, a competition among certain Game Informer staff members to determine the featured game of the eleventh Super Replay. He also chose what games each of the staff members would play against one another, resulting is some interesting and hilarious matches. He left Gameinformer willingly after witnessing Gamestop lay off half of the staff.
